Onboard Askari - Simply Assegai Magic

Askari, the 55ft custom sportfisher from Australia's Assegai Marine on Queensland's Gold Coast is another example of the craftsmanship of Barry Martin. Built with the purpose of reaching the marlin grounds off the famous Lizard Island in nearly any conditions, Askari has been having some very impressive seasons. Step on board.

The saloon carries on the simple lines and curves of Askari's exterior. Easy to maintain and trimmed in polished timber, the saloon is cool through the day thanks to the airconditioning and a great place to review a day's fishing on the LCD TV.

The master cabin has plenty of space for the whole family.

The helm is Assegai perfection.

The chair is from the owners previous boat and was beautifully restore by the Assegai team.
